I'm dancing for NEST because I believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed

As the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning for Loveland City School District, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the incredible potential our students have. I also know that students cannot fully engage in learning when they are worried about where their next meal will come from, whether they are safe, or whether they have the support they need to navigate life's challenges.

That's why the work of NEST Community Learning Center matters so much to me. NEST's focus on Nutrition, Education, Safety, and Transformation addresses the whole child and helps remove barriers that can stand between students and their dreams.

I am a dedicated educator because I believe deeply in the power of education to change lives. But I also believe that education is most powerful when we surround students with the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to thrive.

So, I'm stepping outside my comfort zone, putting on my dancing shoes, and saying yes to Dancing with the Stars because this is about so much more than dancing. It's about investing in our students, strengthening our community, and making sure every child has the opportunity to discover just how much they are capable of achieving.

I'm dancing for the students. I'm dancing for their futures. And I'm dancing because every child deserves a chance to thrive.
